Diagnosis

Midlobe of mesoscutum and scutellum each with three pairs of setae; stigmal vein short (tripar belongs in a group of species having a long and narrow stigmal vein, but compared to other species in that group tripar has a short stigmal vein); propodeum with a few irregular longitudinal carinae medially; first gastral tergite without carinae from basal carina (as in bimaculatus).
